Jesus,
What is the most important question to ask your guru when you meet her/him for the first time to see if the guru is a true guru?
Thanks and Love,
Mike Coats
Having a Guru and being a chela is a cherished relationship throughout the Great White Brotherhood. It begins with a teacher, and a student who wants to know More. There is no other relationship that is so important for growth in putting on the garments of Christhood. Yet, there can be detrimental effects when the chela depends on the Guru in an inordinate way. There must be balance as with any relationship, and most importantly with this relationship.
Desire to Obey the Will of God
Before answering your question there must be the clarification as to who is needing a Guru and in what capacity. The Guru picks the chela as the one who knows the Will of God and obeys that Will. Then the chela finds the Guru and presents him or herself to be disciplined, whereby the Guru decides if the chela is sincere. For the sincere chela is one who also loves God's Will, even if he is not in alignment with God's Will at that moment. Beginning at the moment the Guru accepts the chela, the Guru has agreed to taking on a certain measure of the chela's karma. This gift of the Guru is to help the chela to be freed from a particular blind spot that impedes the advancement of the soul's overcoming a negative momentum they can't see their way out of.
One of the particular blind spots that any soul will encounter sojourning through the physical plane is the understanding of good and evil and its connection to the Fall of Adam and Eve. By disobedience to the Guru Maitreya, Adam and Eve tasted of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil before they had been initiated in the understanding of Absolute Evil. Without the foundation of understanding how Absolute Evil works in the world of form, Adam fell in believing the lie that God's love was unconditional to man. In the higher polarity of Spirit, there is only God Reality, there is no evil and thereby no Absolute Evil. But in the Matter plane where separation from wholeness occurs in order to allow More, there is an opportunity through free will to continue further separation from the I AM THAT I AM, and thus the individual I AM. Through free will individualizations of God can explore separation and find their own unique way back to the I AM.
Root Races and Their Dharma
Group mandalas are created from out the Great Central Sun, with specific explorations in creating through the separate bodies of God, as they explore time and space. The mandalas are called root races or lifewaves. The goal of each root race would be to work together in unity to uncover More and then ascend back to God I AM THAT I AM through their individual I AM. These explorations are cyclic in nature, as God creates in cyclic waves on the outbreath, and all are expected to return on the inbreath. If on the inbreath souls are rebelling against the flow, resisting the Light and preferring the outer darkness, they may be lost when the inbreath finishes in readiness for the next outbreath and new creation.
In order to guide these lifewaves, each lifewave is assigned a cosmic Being called a Manu. These Manus have themselves traversed the realm of Matter becoming the More and returning back to the One in the ascension spiral. They are two, as one, twin flames, having come into unity of Father-Mother God while in the Matter sphere, thereby qualifying them to be in the role of Divine Parents. They carry a specific quality of wholeness and Christic Light which they must step down to all souls evolving in the lifewave under their sponsorship. They, in effect, are Gurus, and establish the matrix of Divine Law for the lifewave. In order for all in the evolving mandala to win their ascensions, many teachers will embody among the lifewave to assist the forward movement of the all. They may establish philosophies that will later form into religions, in order to guide the lifewave toward their common goal - unity in one of the bodies of God.
The Fourth Root Race Falls
At the time of the fall of Adam and Eve the fourth root race was embodying. But because of the embodied fallen angels, the entire root race lost their way, falling off the path and from unity in the establishment of the Guru-chela relationship. An attempt was made to anchor the true Guru-chela relationship by sending initiates of Lord Maitreya, sets of twin flames, to the Garden of Eden, within the protected forcefield of the Guru. As long as the chelas stayed in alignment with the Guru's consciousness, they would be protected. If they went outside the consciousness of Maitreya, they were immediately vulnerable to the fallen angels' attempts to negatively entrap them. That which could take them outside of the Guru's forcefield was accepting the vision or the thoughtform of something that was outside of I AM THAT I AM.
Adam Forms a Graven Image of Father
The fallen angels, most notably, the fallen angel Serpent, took to the task of taking the twin flames from their Guru and apart from each other. The first to actually go outside the Guru's consciousness was Adam. He did so by replacing the true love for the Guru and the Father's Will with an idea. The image of Father and Guru was replaced with the graven image of a Father who is angry when his children err. Why would Adam accept the image of an angry Father? When you do the Will of God and follow his direction, you may find that there are those in the world who oppose you. Not only do they oppose you, but they condemn you. They practice black magic against you. They attempt to get you to accept that you are not following God's Will, but your own perceptions of his will. They project on you that your obedience to God's Will has no basis in God Power, but is a misuse of power, and thereby that power (which they fear) becomes anathema to them which they rebel against and make you wrong for having it.
Adam experienced receiving Divine Direction and being obedient to it. But he also felt the world energies of condemnation against him for loving God's Will even though he was in the Garden and protected. The son or daughter is to come into the world to raise up the fallen energies and thereby they must receive impartations of that energy in order to make the choice to love God More. And part of that energy every son and daughter must take on is the condemnation of the Father's Will, and all who align themselves with His Will.
When you love God's Will, you want to be in alignment with it. Being in alignment with it does not mean that you will always know you are following God's Will, as you have to receive the initiation that you want God's Will more than your own separate will. So Father gives you outer representatives of God's Will, to teach you and guide you along the Way. The Guru is the Father representative, and was so to the twin flames in the garden. The Guru may appear to be stern, kind, or having any face, to present the test to follow God's Will regardless of the outer appearances.
One of the tests of every chela is to accept the Guru's chastisement for going outside of God's Will. If the chela has a strong love for God's Will, he will be willing to be chastised, even if he knows he has not intentionally gone against God's Will, but nevertheless erred in judgment. The chela will be willing to take whatever discipline the Guru gives, even to accept the Guru's anger, which is always righteous anger, not of the human being.
Anti-Will and Anti-Being
But there is another response the chela can fall into, and engage in, which is the anti-will, anti-Being, energies. It is very subtle and comes through the desire to falsely please the Guru and Father God, so that you will never be blamed or chastised for making a choice that would take you away from perfection in God's Will. It is a slight turning away from the Reality of God, because you can reason that being perfect is more important than making a mistake and incurring the divine wrath of the Guru or Father. It is an avoidance of that experience, rather, avoiding error by not taking chances, but by remaining safe. It is standing still. Can you err if you don't move? Can you grow and be the true More if you don't move and risk taking the wrong step?
Adam subtly, but decidedly, chose to stop moving rather than incur the divine wrath of the Guru, who was Maitreya. He had no way of receiving the Father's praises either, because if he did not take the chance to make errors, he also did not receive the victories of overcoming, which comes about when one makes the right choice to love God more than one's own will. As Adam slowly moved away from Being, he also separated himself from his true Self. He was moving away from Being, where the Guru's consciousness would protect him, and into the darkness of separation, through his own free will choice to avoid the Guru and his chastisement.
The First Graven Image
What followed is the loss of the Father's praises and the feeling that Adam wasn't deserving of the Father's love. In order to reconcile that image he had to see that the Guru and Father should love him unconditionally no matter what he did. Adam had to create a Father that unconditionally gives out love to his children whether they become More or not. This was the first graven image of God and the first sin. It was the reason I said unto the Pharisee, upon his asking me what was the greatest commandment, in order to expose me as a charlatan, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment."
This commandment is to teach you that it is not important to work for God's love, seeking to receive first, but it is the giving of love that is important, desiring first to love God and His Will with all your Being. The need to make an image of how you think God should behave as an unconditionally giving God, expecting he must love you unconditionally no matter the act, is to have a selfish view where it is more important to receive than to give. This selfishness can only take you away from God.
The False Father in Adam
Thus, the masculine fall was the sin of anti-Being. The walk away from the Guru led Adam, and all who followed in Adam's footsteps, from the Garden of Eden, the Edenic consciousness where purity is not about what you do, but it is about selflessness, and a love so strong for the Father's Will that nothing you do will deter you from giving gratitude to God and loving God's Will.
When the special place in the Father's heart was no longer felt by Adam, he opened himself to the Great Whore bringing the fulfillment he could no longer receive from the true Father and Guru. With these images of the false Guru and false Father, Adam was easily taken from his love and into his mind to feel worthy of having a special place in the Guru's heart. With the image that all are loved equally, he lost the trust in the Guru and faith in the Father's direction. Without that faith and trust Adam was open to needing something to help him feel secure. So he found his fulfillment in receiving those who would praise him for his wisdom, which was not the Christ wisdom, but the reasoning of the logical mind.
Adam's capacity to grow and Be More was eroded, and slowly, also the love of the individual path of chelaship and the purpose of the Guru-chela relationship. Once Adam started raising up his own mind as the repository of praise, instead of the Christ consciousness that is one with the Father's Being, he no longer saw or needed the Guru to point the Way to overcoming the blocks from within to Being. Adam believed he had everything he needed within his own wisdom and that his mind was the repository of that wisdom.
The power once conveyed to Adam through the Guru-chela relationship was almost entirely broken. The Guru was merely a figurehead of what Adam created in his mind as the only purpose for a Guru, that of presenting himself as a figure of unconditionally loving kindness. And thus you see Lord Maitreya has always been associated with kindness. But that kindness is based on this human understanding of kindness where the Guru does not chastise, does not discipline, does not set the Law, does not enforce, does not do anything that would appear outside the graven image of the false Father. Whereas true kindness will set the boundaries of right from wrong, stand up to darkness and challenge the foe that would take one to the deepest levels of unreality and into the mind that believes it is superior to God's Will. The heart of kindness will stand up for a brother, and even take on the enemy to that brother, thereby risking life and home to help the brother so he will not stand alone and receive the full force of whatever that enemy brings.
No true Guru would allow a chela to wallow in his unreality. It is kindness to discipline, no matter the act. If the love of God's Will is the motive behind the Guru's discipline, then the chela is receiving the highest loving act from the Guru to point out the chela's mistakes. It is kindness to set the Law and enforce it, for without the enforcement, no matter the law, it would be as nothing.
Knowing the True Guru from Within
To know whether you have created your own graven image of a Guru, ponder whether you believe you need a guru or not. If you believe you are above the Guru-chela relationship, you have taken to yourself the graven image of the unconditionally loving Father and either anti-Being or condemnation against the Father's Will. Ponder it well, for one is easier to be healed than the other. For if you fell condemning the Father's Will, you have created a momentum of anti-Father that has already taken you so far from the Father's Will and Being that the road back to Reality is strewn with boulders of spiritual blindness and records of infamy after infamy.
I have surrendered my life, as a true Guru will, some 2,000 years ago, to allow the Father's Grace to give opportunity to such as those who have taken on anti-Being. Taking on the world karma is what a true Guru will do, even to his death if God so wills. I have done so and thus I have paid the greatest gift for your freedom. There is no more grace to set aside the karma of anti-Being, for the karma must return to the perpetrator. Grace may only be applied now where a soul surrenders some part of the not-self on a continual basis, that he proves to the Great Karmic Board that this one deserves intervention beyond the cyclic return of the judgment.
The grace to hold back thousands of years of momentum of anti-Being cannot be held back as you enter the new age of Aquarius. At each turn of the New Age, the earth is slowly rotating back in time to replay the past entire 25,800 year cycle, through the 2,000 year cosmic cycles known as the "precession of the equinoxes". I sponsored the last 2,000 years in Pisces, holding back the return of the judgment to both those of anti-Being and those who had fallen through condemning God's Will. That cycle has come to an end, as the next 2,000 year cycle of Aquarius recently began. There is no holding back that which I held during the age of Pisces.
The years of my atonement for the sins of many are finished. If you want to follow the Christ Light, you will find me still with you, helping you balance your sins against the Father. You may find an outer Guru in your world who will also lead you to the Christ Light. But if you believe the Christ is nothing more than the polar opposite of anti-Christ, as one who sees the underlying "oneness" in everything and everyone, thereby you are defining duality and the anti-Christ as one who discerns right from wrong, and making Christ discernment anti-Christ, and unconditional love the Christ. With the choice to hold onto these graven images of the Christ, the Son of God, the Father and the Guru, after thousands of years of the true teachings being released on this planet, you have made your decision. The sacrifices have been made for you, the truth has been given, the Light and Holy Spirit have descended to open the heart and mind to God Reality, whereupon every opportunity to choose to love God's Will has been given.
The time to know a true Guru has come with opportunity after opportunity, and the choice has been made so many times in turning one's back on the true Guru, that the record of infamy is great. When a true Guru comes in your presence, you may immediately feel pride and superiority that you know more than the Guru and that the Guru isn't sufficient for your needs. The Son of God who is lost in anti-Being may feel inferiority in coming into the Guru's presence. If you recognize inferiority or superiority in your thoughts and feelings, know that you are either suffering from anti-Being or condemnation of the Father's Will. The true God feeling upon coming across the true Guru will be an overwhelming joy and gratitude. There will be no question in your mind that you are in the presence of a true Guru. You will not even desire to test the Guru to whether he/she is a true Guru, for you will know in your heart you are close to the one who will help you home to God Being.
I, Jesus, hold the immaculate concept for all, loving you with the Father's Love, not the unconditional love you may expect I bring. I cannot be what others make me into with their expectations. I will speak the Truth no matter the ill reception, or the condemnation, for as I hold the immaculate concept that all love God's Will first and supreme to anything in this world, I raise my right hand through all on earth who call forth the fires of the Ruby Ray in the all-consuming fire of God's Love. It is the highest love known to Being I AM THAT I AM, and that love that you find in ISIS, is a mystery for you to discover and become. For I AM More.
